Virginia judges at The American Fine Wine Competition January 2016

This past weekend (17 & 18 January) Virginia and 20 other highly respected national palates converged in Miami to blind taste over 750 of the finest wines produced in USA. The wines were presented to the judges at the Florida International University, Chaplin School of Hospitality by the students of the same school.

Over 2 days, wine were judged by flights of grape varietal, to panels of 4.  Day 1 saw the whites, Pinot Noirs, Zins, Merlots, rosés and stickies being tasted. Day 2 the Cab Sauvs, Syrahs & Bordeaux Blends.  Stay tuned to learn who the winners are.
